Relishing complex challenges and projects of all scales, we focus on providing elegant, economical structural and civil engineering solutions
Paul Owen Associates are a practice of consulting structural and civil engineers. We are involved in construction projects from their very outset, right through to completion, maintenance and operation. Our work ranges from smaller refurbishments and extensions to large-scale new builds. We are experienced across a broad range construction sectors including residential, education, healthcare, arts and leisure, commercial and infrastructure. Our expertise in data centres enables us to provide our services to a number of major clients in this sector.
Our services include, pre-planning advice, appraisal of existing structures, due-diligence reporting, and the repair and alteration of historic buildings. We are adept at the design of basements and basement extensions. Our in-house civil engineering team provides roads and drainage designs and flood risk assessments.
As well as working nationally, our international experience includes projects across Europe and into the Far East, including the Republic of Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Gibraltar, Singapore and Malaysia.
Essential to the design of any building is the ability of the separate disciplines to work effectively in a team to provide a cohesive, coordinated design solution. To do this engineers not only have to command their own subject, but must also be able to appreciate and share the objectives of the team members in the design and construction process. We provide clients and other professionals in the team with a collaborative and responsive service, focused on technical excellence and the delivery of programme and budget requirements.
We take pride in the quality of our drawings, ensuring that our structural design principles are communicated clearly and concisely. We are experienced in producing structural designs using the latest 3D design software. Our drawings are produced in Revit and we are experienced in the design of projects to BIM Level II.
