This major new-build development is the first installment of the masterplan for the regeneration of Tottenham High Street. 222 residential units are provided, divided between four blocks which range in height from five to twenty-three storeys. A mixed-use building also incorporates a two-form entry free primary school. The new estate is serviced by a district CHP system.
Paul Owen Associates have provided full civil and structural services on this development from the pre-planning stages through to construction. The buildings’ structures are predominantly reinforced concrete frames with flat slabs and blade columns. Due to the height of the three tallest buildings the foundations were piled, although the lower rise school building was founded on concrete pads. Our in-house civil engineers designed the estate roads and site drainage.
The buildings were modeled using Revit software and the structural analysis was undertaken swiftly, economically and accurately using the latest 3D modelling design software.
