Paul Owen Associates were commissioned to act as the structural and civil engineers from feasibility through to construction for this extension to the existing car showroom in Maidstone.
The original project was to construct a new showroom extension to the existing steel framed workshop which were also to be overclad. The project required the re-designing of the external hardstanding and below ground drainage to suit the new building layout.
A further extension and alteration of the existing structure were undertaken in 2016 to create a new open plan showroom across the front elevation of the existing building.
