Working as part of Osborne’s design and build team we were able to bring our trademark simplicity to this Grimshaw designed extension to the Roberts Building. The new block is arranged over five storeys and is designed to house the University’s Centre for Enterprise and Management department. Paul Owen Associates provided full civil and structural engineering design services. The Engineering challenges included a new basement adjacent to the existing building, with foundations straddling the proposed Hackney-Chelsea line.
